About PayCabal

An independent, human-verified registry of cryptocurrency payment providers — built for people who need accurate, comparable data without the noise.

Our Mission

The crypto payment landscape is fragmented and fast-moving. Dozens of card issuers, neo-banks, on/off ramps, payroll tools, and infrastructure providers compete for attention — each with different fee structures, geographic restrictions, KYC requirements, and cashback mechanics.

PayCabal exists to cut through that complexity. We research, structure, and maintain comparable data on every major provider so you can make an informed decision in minutes, not hours.

What We Cover

  • Crypto Cards — Visa and Mastercard debit cards funded by cryptocurrency wallets. We track FX fees, cashback rates, card networks, custody models, and digital wallet support.
  • Neo-banks — Digital banking products with native crypto integration, multi-currency accounts, and IBANs.
  • On/Off Ramps — Fiat ↔ crypto conversion services. We compare KYC level, settlement time, supported currencies, and payout methods.
  • Payroll — Solutions for receiving salary or paying contractors in cryptocurrency.
  • Infrastructure — B2B payment APIs, rails, and developer tooling for businesses that want to accept or process crypto payments.

Our Methodology

Every provider listing on PayCabal is assembled and verified by a human researcher — not scraped, AI-generated, or auto-populated from third-party APIs. Here is how a provider gets listed:

  1. 1

    Primary source research

We start with the provider's official website, pricing pages, terms of service, and public documentation. Fee figures are sourced directly — not estimated or approximated from third parties.

  2. 2

    Structured data entry

Each data point is entered into a structured schema: fees (monthly, annual, ATM, FX, foreign transaction, transfer), rewards (cashback percentage and details), card details (network, type, virtual/physical, Apple Pay, Google Pay, custody model), and geographic coverage. Every field is explicit — we do not leave ambiguous fields blank or marked "varies."

  3. 3

    Caveat documentation

Important restrictions, conditions, or gotchas are captured in a dedicated caveats field — for example, "cashback paid in CRO, not USD" or "ATM limit: $400/month free." These are displayed prominently on each provider page.

  4. 4

    Publication and dating

Every listing carries a lastUpdated date and a data source label (manual research, provider-submitted, public-info, or user-contributed) so you always know how fresh the data is.

Data Freshness & Accuracy

Crypto payment providers update their fee schedules, cashback tiers, and supported regions frequently. We review listings whenever we become aware of a change and periodically audit providers on a rolling basis.

Each listing shows the date it was last reviewed. If you spot data that is out of date, please email us at sarthakguleria002@gmail.com with a source link — we typically update within 48 hours.

All data is also accessible via our public JSON API at /api/providers and in LLM-readable format at /llms.txt.

Independence & Disclosure

PayCabal is an independent project. Our listings are based on objective research and are not pay-to-play. Any sponsored or featured placements are clearly labeled as such and do not affect the accuracy of provider data or our comparison rankings.

We do not receive affiliate commissions from any listed provider unless explicitly stated. If that changes for a specific listing, it will be disclosed prominently on that provider's page.

Who Built This

PayCabal was conceived and is maintained by Sarthak Guleria, a product manager and generalist with hands-on experience navigating the crypto payment space. The project grew out of personal frustration with the lack of a reliable, structured source for comparing crypto cards.

The site was designed and built in collaboration with Claude (Anthropic's AI). All provider research, data verification, editorial decisions, and caveats are human-authored — Claude assisted with turning those decisions into a working product.

The codebase is open-source and available on GitHub.
